Make good easier.
We remove friction between people and opportunity.
Easy Foundation · A Section 8 not-for-profit company
Problem
We don't choose causes. We choose solvable problems.
Education, health, livelihood, housing and digital safety are tags on a problem, not departments of this Foundation. A problem enters Easy Foundation when it clears five tests.
- 1It affects enough people to be worth solving.
- 2The friction can be clearly identified.
- 3Technology, information or better execution could materially reduce it.
- 4We can test something cheaply.
- 5The solution could eventually be free, or copied by others.
Free forever. No login. No sales calls. Build it once, and anyone can use it.
People don't know which government benefits they qualify for.
Eligibility for scholarships, pensions, PM-JAY and state schemes is spread across dozens of portals in language most applicants cannot parse. Households rarely fail the criteria. They fail to find out.
People can't see the true cost of borrowing.
A quoted rate is not the cost. Processing fees, insurance bundled at sanction, GST and other charges routinely add a meaningful amount that is never shown as a single number.
Ordinary messages are impossible to tell apart from fraud.
KYC expiry texts, UPI collect requests, APK links and fake refund messages use the same few patterns. Most people have never had those patterns explained to them.
Buying a home means signing documents nobody explains.
Title, encumbrance, approvals, dues and TDS obligations decide whether a purchase is safe. The checks are knowable, and almost never written down in plain language.
None running yet. Every experiment we run will be published here with its question, maximum budget, success metric, deadline, result and the decision we took — including the ones we stop.
Execution matters.
Understand
Spend time where the problem is. Count what is actually happening.
Build
Smallest version that could plausibly work. Ship it in weeks, not quarters.
Test
One clear hypothesis. One number that would prove us wrong.
Measure
Independent verification. Published whether or not it flatters us.
Improve
Version 2 exists for everything. Nothing is finished.
Scale
Only what holds up. Cost per outcome has to fall, not rise.
No projects yet. When one starts, it appears on the board with a status — Idea, Testing, Working, Scaling or Stopped — and the money, users and result attached to it.
0 projects completed. 0 impact claimed.
We're just getting started.
This site publishes only numbers we can trace to a source document or a counted record. Today that number is zero. Six months from now this page should look different — and everything on it will be dated, sourced and verifiable.
How we will count →Nothing here yet. As our experiments fail, this page will fill up — with what we tried, what happened, what it cost and what we changed.
What didn't work →If we can't show how a number was produced, we don't publish it. Every number carries a definition, a numerator, a denominator, a source, a period and its limitations.
Reach
Someone encountered what we built. The weakest claim there is, and the one most often reported as impact.
Use
Someone actually used the tool or the intervention, all the way through. Counted from records, not impressions.
Outcome
Something measurably changed for that person. Reported with a definition, a period and its limitations, or not at all.
Entity details, registrations, financials, policies and our impact method live in a public data room. Anything not yet filed is marked not yet published, never implied.
